eToro Swap is a thin client over the eToro public API. The page below explains exactly what we keep, what leaves your browser, and what we deliberately don't do.
What we store
When you sign in we encrypt your eToro API keys (or, for SSO sign-in, your eToro OAuth access + refresh tokens) and write them into a single httpOnly session cookie bound to this browser. That cookie is the only piece of state we keep. There is no application database, no analytics store, and no third-party cache.
What we send to eToro
Every request the app makes to https://public-api.etoro.comis signed with the keys in your session cookie. We send the calls you trigger — view your portfolio, view a market price, place a swap — and nothing else. We don't broadcast usage data back to eToro.
Cookies
We set exactly one cookie: the encrypted session described above. We don't use marketing cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. Sign-out deletes the cookie.
